Mom's Brownies

Ingredients
Brownies

cup
white sugar
1
stick
margarine
(I typically don’t use I would prefer real butter or coconut oil but I am telling that it has to be margarine, or they don’t turn out)
1
cup
Hershey's chocolate syrup
1
cup
flour
Frosting
1 1/3
cup
sugar
6
tbsp
millk
7
tbsp
margarine
Instructions
For the Brownies
Beat sugar and softened margarine well
Add 1 egg at a time and beat well
Add in chocolate syrup and flour and mix until smooth
Pour into a greased 9 X 11 pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes or your toothpick comes out clean!
For the Frosting
Boil the above ingredients for about 1 minute and take off heat
Add in 1 ½ cups of semisweet or dark chocolate chips and whisk until smooth.
Spread over the cooled brownies. I like to add some mint chips or white mint chocolate to the top if making around the holidays
